Electrode Paste is an indispensable conductive material used in Submerged Arc furnace to make ferroalloy products such as FeSi, SiMn, FeCr, FeNi and chemcial products like CaCâ(Calcium Carbide), also known as self-baking electrode, Soderberg electrode. It is using high-quality electric calcined anthracite, petroleum coke, graphite powder as raw materials and the coal tar pitch is added as binder at a certain temperature through the processes of compounding, kneading and forming. With good electrical conductivity, higher oxidation resistance and mechanical strength, smaller thermal expansion coefficient, electrical resistivity and porosity, it can effectively reduce the electric energy loss during the smelting process, reduce electrode oxidation and increase smelting output.
